Gwyneth Paltrow’s Nearly Sold-Out Sweater Set Is the Only Thing I Want to Wear This Winter

Winter dressing can get quite formulaic. When the first priority is warmth, followed by style, most of us fall into a similar routine: Jeans (with no holes), a sweater, jacket, and boots — it’s the season’s no-nonsense outfit recipe. But as simple as day-to-day dressing can be, I honestly become quite flummoxed when dressing up in winter; everything’s either too bare to wear in cold temperatures or too frumpy. Fortunately, Gwyneth Paltrow just reminded me that there’s an elevated version of one of my favorite cozy ‘fits.

Earlier this week, she introduced me to the set of my dreams upon wearing an oversized hot pink sweater with a matching A-line knit skirt.

The matching set from G. Label, Goop’s own brand, found the perfect balance between cozy and chic — so, of course, it's now nearly sold out. But that doesn't mean I’m giving up on the look — after all, sweater sets are my winter staple. So I took to Amazon to see if I could find anything similar and discovered seven chic options under $50.

If you’re wanting to recreate her Barbie-esque look, consider grabbing this sweater skirt set from Pink Queen. The turtleneck top is a bit cropped, hitting at the waist of the mid-length skirt, and both feature a ribbed design. “It’s 30 degrees today and I'm feeling great in it,” wrote one shopper who called the set “super comfortable and warm.” Another customer was obsessed with the set’s versatility: “I love this whole outfit [but] I wear the top more often because it mixes with everything,” they said, explaining that the individual piece is easy to “dress up or down.”

Prettygarden Two-Piece Sweater Set

If you’re not set on pink, this 100-percent cotton option from Prettygarden is a great option thanks to eight available colors. This top is similar to Paltrow's with a crewneck and looser fit shoppers describe as “oversized.” “[It’s] stylish, classy, and soft,” wrote the same customer, adding that the look “was a total hit.” And according to another fan, they “received compliments all day while wearing” the “comfortable, and classy set,” adding that both pieces had stretch to them and were also “warm [even] when the temperature dropped.”

While Anrabess’ sweater set might not be a dead-ringer for Paltrow’s, it honestly might be my favorite. I love the large cable-knit design, V-neckline, and subtle leg slit. One shopper gushed that the set is “incredibly soft” and “feels like butter” with “just the right thickness.” And another person was shocked by how well-made the $50 set was. “Truthfully, the quality is above what I expected,” they wrote, explaining that the knit material is “soft to the touch [and] doesn’t feel itchy.” “[It’s] well made and looks great on,” raved another customer.
