Gwyneth Paltrow Seems to Double Down on 'Starvation Diet' With New Fridge Tour
Ever wondered what's inside Gwyneth Paltrow's fridge? You wouldn't be the only one.
The 50-year-old actress and Goop founder recently gave social media a tour of her fridge after getting "a lot of questions" about it. While it appears fully stocked, fans pointed out that it contained primarily liquids and a large assortment of skincare products.
"I’ve gotten a lot of questions about what’s in my fridge," Paltrow began in a video shared on Goop's official Instagram page on Friday, Aug. 4.
"I guess this is a trend that’s going around, so would you like to see what’s in my fridge?" she asked.
While admitting that she "cleaned it up" before filming, Paltrow assured internet users that "this is really the kind of stuff" she keeps regularly stocked in her fridge–yogurt, berries, coconut water, a few jars of green olives, teas, tinctures, skincare, sparkling water, lots of condiments and multiple varieties of milk.
"There’s heavy cream, there’s half-and-half, there’s regular milk, there’s almond milk," she shared. "We span the spectrum of milks here in the old Paltrow-Martin house."
The video also showed a few plastic containers filled with what Paltrow said were leftovers, including "butter chicken," "veggie burgers" and "zucchini fritters," as well as some eggs, beer, cans of wine and a gua sha.
"So that wraps up my fridge tour! Do you feel like you’ve gotten to know me any better?" the lifestyle mogul concluded.
"This looks like the drinks fridge at the Brentwood country mart," one joked.
Another remarked, "GP you just inspired me to clean my fridge! Thank you," before a third asked, "Where do you keep the fresh veggies? Love the organized fridge. ????."

Some suggested this was her "second fridge" in hopes another was located in the house and more nutritiously stocked. But given other recent statements made by the star, others were not so sure.
"Only Gwyneth will show you what’s in her fridge then stock up on her facial products to advertise," another claimed.
This past March, the Iron Man alum was scolded by TikTokers after revealing she prefers to have "some things that won't spike [her] blood sugar," like a cup of coffee in the morning, followed by bone broth for lunch.
Her "wellness routine" was quickly dubbed the "starvation diet" or the "almond mom diet" by social media users, with some noting the behavior seemed to glorify disordered eating.
But she isn't the only celeb to admit to controversial eating habits.
How I Met Your Father star Hilary Duff also went on the record this past May comparing her own diet to Paltrow's, admitting she prefers to "starve off hunger" in the morning.
"Gwyneth's in trouble for saying this, but sometimes I try to just drink coffee in the morning and starve off my hunger," she said while appearing on Molly Sims' podcast Lipstick on the Rim.
Paltrow's ex-husband, Chris Martin, with whom she shares her two children–Apple and Moses Martin–also sparked some concern after revealing his strict diet.
