Hager: Party of Five! Jenna Bush Hager Welcomes Son with Henry Hager

It’s official, Mila and Poppy Hager have a little brother to spoil! On Friday, August 2 at 9:02AM, Henry Harold “Hal” Hager arrived weighing 7lbs 5oz.

For their son’s moniker, Jenna and Henry didn’t look far for inspiration. His first name comes from his father and paternal grandfather John Henry Hager, former Lieutenant Governor of Virginia. The name Harold comes from Jenna’s maternal grandfather and Laura Bush’s father Harold Welch.

“His sisters are thrilled to have a little brother and already nicknamed his nickname, exclaiming ‘welcome to the world Hal Pal!’ ” Jenna tells PEOPLE.

Judging by photos shared on the @hodaandjenna’s Instagram, it looks like the Bush celebrations have already begun with Jenna’s parents, sister, and brother-in-law visiting the new family of five.

“I just feel overcome with gratitude that we get to expand our family,” Jenna shared with the Today Show before starting her maternity leave last week.
