Halle Berry made a striking appearance on the Oscars red carpet.

The Monster's Ball star looked glamorous in a white halter gown by Tamara Ralph, featuring a high-neck collar, a peekaboo cutout at the torso, an asymmetrical wrapped waistline, and a trailing skirt with a hip-high slit. The dress was also embellished with glittering rose-gold rosettes, arranged around her shoulders and clustered at her hip. She accessorized the look with gold platform pumps and matching small gold hoops and rings, with her short hair styled in finger waves and loose curls covering one eye.

The star walked the ceremony's champagne carpet accompanied by her longtime beau Van Hunt, who wore a classic black tux and brown art-deco tie. The couple have been dating since 2020, and he previously accompanied her to the 2021 ceremony.

Earlier this week, the Oscar winner's iconic Elie Saab gown from the 2002 ceremony became officially enshrined as part of Academy Award history. The sultry mesh and taffeta gown, which she wore on the night she took home the golden statuette for Best Actress, is now on display at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles.

"Not only will this historic @eliesaabworld gown remain in the expert care of the museum's curators and conservators, but it will also be accessible to generations of people for whom the dress also holds meaning and forever be a reminder that all things are possible. Thank you @academymuseum!" she wrote in an Instagram post reacting to the news.
