Halle Berry, 54, shows off toned abs in 'magical' red carpet-worthy ensemble: 'You are radiating'
Halle Berry is ready to get glam.
On Wednesday, the actress rocked a Christian Siriano two-piece set featuring a butterfly applique crop top and a black tulle ball skirt. The ensemble is from the designer's pre-fall 2021 collection and it gave off major 2002 Oscar vibes. She rocked the ensemble at home, doing a photoshoot in her backyard.
"Looking for a red carpet moment (This beauty was designed by @csiriano)," the 54-year-old captioned the post.
Siriano also shared a photo of Berry wearing his two-piece outfit writing, "Naturally @halleberry is the first to wear our PreFall all recycled collection. A chic butterfly top and tulle skirt. Let’s be glamorous at home everyone! #happywednesday #halleberry Styled by @iamlindsayflores."
Celebrity friends and fans could not get enough of Berry's look and took to the comments to express their amazement.
"Love,' Vanessa Bryant said.
"Gagging!!! My goodness...you are RADIATING," yogi and filmmaker Oge Egbuonu added.
Even Siriano, whom she thanked on a post on his Instagram, had to comment, writing, "Omg love love love you!!!"
"Woowww I am soo in love with this dress it suits you awesomely," a fan continued.
"MAGICAL!!!" Someone praised.
Berry has consistently proven to her over six million followers that she is in a lane all her own when it comes to style slaying in both casual and glam. In a 2012 interview with InStyle, she warned against blindly following what is popular.
"Don't be a slave to trends," she said at the time. "People who are never develop their own style. I have friends who are tragic — always trying to wear the latest thing, and it doesn't always look good on them. I mean, that may be good on Kate Moss on the runway, but honey, you can't pull it off."
She also admitted that though she liked how her style had evolved, she did have her not-so-great moments in the past.
"Someone just showed me a photo from the '80s in which I was wearing a polka-dot and flower-print suit with puffy sleeves," Berry remembered. "At the time I thought I was stylin'! But no … I archive a lot of my clothes and have them wrapped up and in boxes. I call them 'little tombs' and keep them in a storage space in the Valley. I would never get rid of the dress I wore on the night I won my Oscar. When I die, someone can have it, but not a minute before!"
