Halle Berry Uncovers Her Love of Snakes in Beach Photos From Mexico
Halle Berry isn't afraid to get down and dirty with nature.
The 56-year-old actress shocked fans with a new photo she shared on social media over the weekend, which showed the John Wick: Chapter 4 actress playfully posing in nature wearing her best beach garb–a black bathing suit, matching crochet cover-up dress, flip flops, oversized shades and a straw hat–while casually holding a snake.
Yeah, you read that right–the actress proudly showed off a good size snake she came across while on a walk during her getaway to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico.
"I love snakes," she began in the caption of her July 15 Instagram upload. "They’ve taught me to shed or die … I’ve chosen to shed!"
Berry's followers were big fans of her philosophy, even if they didn't care so much for the sizable reptile slithering through the grip of her two hands.
"Shed or die. I love that!" exclaimed internet personality and artist Amina Mucciolo.
Film and TV producer Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas also chimed in, "Good choice!"
"????always keeping it positive!" Berry later added in the comments.
Jokes were also made, as many equated the reptile with the word for someone that's deceitful.
"I got plenty of those in my family they just have on disguises ??," one top comment read.
"I have some in the family ????," a second Instagram user quipped.
Clearly, Berry is more adventurous than most, as she previously shared a clip of herself having the time of her life riding down a zip line–brave!
