Halle Berry's Boyfriend, Van Hunt, Says That She's His Ultimate Muse
Van Hunt is opening up about his relationship with Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry.
The musician spoke to Entertainment Tonight ahead of his virtual performance for BRIC JazzFest in April and shared tidbits about not just his romance with the actress, but also how he's been included in her family as a whole.
"Their family has this ritual where, and I don't think she would mind me saying it, they get together and have just a small acknowledgement of the day and so they, you know, they immersed me into that and welcomed me into that and it was just beautiful," Hunt told ET of how he celebrated his 51st birthday with Berry's family. "It was just thoughtful and considerate and sweet and that's really the kind of person that she is, so, it was beautiful."
Hunt also teased that his soon-to-be-released music is inspired by his muse and girlfriend. "The inspiration for our relationship goes across everything, even in my parenting," he added. "I'm a completely different person, I can say it like that, and I think that it's improved every aspect of my life."
Further, the musician revealed that more creative projects are in the works for both him and Berry, whom he praised as a talented writer.
"I like to acknowledge [her other talents] because I don't know that people know that side of her because she can write as well," said Hunt. "You guys are gonna be surprised at all the things that she can do. Yeah, I can't tell anymore than that but you gonna be surprised."
