In case you hadn't heard, Halsey and G-Eazy have once again parted ways after a super brief reunion-and now the singer is out here on Twitter posting a bunch of highly cryptic tweets about how happiness can't replace misery and pain.

In the first of several tweets, Halsey wrote that "happiness is not a replacement for misery. it’s an addition. pain will always be there. but that’s okay."

She continued her reflection on the subject by saying that happiness and pain exist together, and happiness arrives "to assist u in carrying the weight of the pain." She added, "now remember that u dummy," which seems to imply that she's going through a pretty painful period right now.

She also posted some lyrics from her breakup song "Without You," the meaning of which, uhm, seems pretty clear:

FYI, Halsey and G-Eazy appear to have called it quits over the weekend, and have already unfollowed each other on Instagram. A source tells Us Weekly that "They just can’t seem to get past their previous issues," and that G-Eazy "was all over other girls publicly at his Halloween party this past weekend."
