I’m finally swapping my beauty and skincare products over for summer. I usually start by picking up a lighter skin tint in place of a heavier foundation when the temperature starts to rise. The other skincare product I switch up seasonally is my body lotion. So, I went ahead and restocked Osea’s Anti-Aging Body Balm, which has been my go-to for glowy and firm skin the last two summers.
The balm is made with seaweed, which has anti-aging properties that improve skin elasticity while replenishing moisture. It also includes passion fruit seed oil to increase skin’s ability to hold moisture, promoting healthier, more youthful-looking skin, coconut oil to seal moisture, and safflower seed oil to nourish dry skin. My favorite thing about this seaweed-infused body lotion is the consistency. It’s rich and effortlessly lightweight while melting to an oil or serum-like consistency. After the shower, I massage the balm onto slightly damp skin to seal in moisture effectively, leaving my skin smooth, moisturized, and glowing. A few pumps go a long way, and it doesn’t leave an oily residue or transfer onto clothes. The scent is clean and fresh, doesn’t overpower, and layers well with other fragrances.
After hours of wear, my skin feels soft, firm, and less textured, even without reapplying. On days when I don’t wear the body balm, my skin still feels smooth and hydrated, so it’s obviously improved the overall health of my skin. I even find my boyfriend sneaking some of the balm, and he says his dry, cracked skin feels moisturized longer and is much softer.
