Headwaters Music and Arts to host Wild Art Wanderers youth nature art camp

Jun. 25—BEMIDJI — Headwaters Music and Arts is set to host a Wild Art Wanderers youth nature art camp from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, July 8, through Friday, July 12.

This week-long program will be filled with adventure, exploration and artistic discovery and is geared toward children ages 5-8.

Campers will craft their own nature journals through simple bookbinding techniques, press leaves and flowers, create dream catchers and design earth-inspired mobiles, a release said. This camp will promote exploration and creativity through daily walks around downtown Bemidji, Diamond Point and the Paul and Babe statues at the waterfront.

The cost to attend the camp is $140 per child, with a $40 non-refundable deposit. Headwaters offers financial assistance options for all of its youth programming in an effort to make the classes accessible for all. Space for the program is limited and advanced registration is required.

All classes are held at Headwaters' downtown location at 519 Minnesota Ave. NW. To register or learn more, visit
