Hear Ye, Hear Ye: Meghan Markle & Prince Harry’s Next Official Outing Has Been Announced
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry (aka the Duchess and Duke of Sussex) are traveling to their namesake city to honor a good (and zeitgeisty) cause.
According to Kensington Palace, Markle and her prince plan to visit the Survivors’ Network, a foundation for sexual assault survivors, while in Sussex on October 3.
In the wake of this week’s news cycle and the #MeToo movement, the couple’s visit couldn’t come at a more fitting time. The Network, which also serves as Sussex’s Rape Crisis Centre, provides support for survivors of sexual violence and aims to reduce instances of abuse and its impact on the community.
The engagement seems like a natural fit for the duke and duchess, as both are proclaimed feminists.
Brava, team.
