Helena Bonham Carter Made Some Truly !!!! Comments About ‘The Crown’
Welp, sounds like Helena Bonham Carter is simply not here for The Crown’s most recent seasons.
The iconic British actress was asked about the show during an interview with The Guardian, saying she should be “careful” before adding, “I don’t think they should carry on, actually. I’m in it and I loved my episodes, but it’s very different now. When The Crown started, it was a historic drama, and now it’s crashed into the present. But that’s up to them.”
On top of that, she was asked about Prince Harry’s recent memoir, Spare, and had this to say: “I don’t really want to contribute to the whole thing. It’s complicated and it’ll get taken out of context. And I think it’s been given enough attention.”
Helena also noted that Princess Margaret wasn’t bothered with being a “spare,” at least in her opinion, explaining, “Well, actually, the real Margaret didn’t mind about being number two, but she did mind being really short. She was just 5 feet, so there was something in her posture to maximize every little millimeter: She had her car seat elevated so she could be seen. And a lot of it was the need not to be overlooked, probably prompted by her great-grandmother saying something about the fact that she was tiny. And that scarred her. It’s funny what we carry—a complex that can govern all our behavior.”
Despite Helena’s thoughts, The Crown is going ahead for another season—and you can get all the details on it below ??:
