Hello, Your Weekly Tarot Card Reading Is Here

From Cosmopolitan

You don't need to know the difference between a three-card and a Celtic cross spread to get the most out of a tarot card reading. All you need: your Sun sign! Here's what I do: Shuffle my tarot deck and pull out the cards in order from Aries to Pisces plus one general card for everyone so that you can get specific advice around your personality. Let’s go!

A GENERAL CARD FOR EVERYONE: TWO OF COINS

Variety is the spice of life, amirite? Too much of anything can get old real quick. The Two of Coins is a reminder to make sure we have enough going on. Review your schedule and try to spread yourself around. All work and no play makes for a dull week, and too much ~play~ can get boring. Moderation is key. Plan in some things to look forward to, some things to challenge you, and some time to rest.

ARIES: SIX OF SWORDS

There is a departure about to happen. It's been a long time coming, and you’ve avoided it, TBH. Maybe you've been worried you're not ready, but the Six of Swords assures you that you are. This leap of faith will prove to be cathartic and healing. There’s nothing to be scared of, so don’t put it off any longer.

TAURUS: NINE OF CUPS

If you can dream it, you can do it. And you of all people should know that—your persistence is legendary. When you put your mind to something, there’s no stopping you. The Nine of Cups sprinkles ~fairy dust~ over your endeavors this week, so use it to make progress on your heart’s desires.

GEMINI: JUSTICE

Geminis are not exactly known for having compassion for people who've wronged them. In fact, they can be a little...intense...about dealing with frenemies and rivals. Justice swings in this week to tell y’all to calm TF down. Let karma take care of this. Mind your own business—avoid acts of revenge, sabotage, or anger. Chill!!! Karma will take care of it.

CANCER: KING OF COINS

A wave of practicality takes over this week, and you can use it to improve your situation. Cast a critical eye over your finances and career. What have you let slide? What needs attention? The pragmatic King of Coins brings a sense of purpose to your material world so you can feel more secure and in control.

LEO: PAGE OF COINS

The Page of Coins is a student card. Maybe you’ve been thinking about some form of education or learning a new skill. It could be something career-related, or it could just be something inspiring. This isn’t a one-off workshop; it's something you can keep on doing for the rest of the year, if not longer. It requires commitment and it can lead to something positive and fulfilling.

VIRGO: KNIGHT OF SWORDS

When you get pissed off, you tend to withdraw and sulk rather than confront the issue head-on. You need to build yourself up before you face a conflict, because it’s stressful and you don’t like not being in control. The Knight of Swords sees you reaching that point this week. You are ready to vent your frustration and hopefully find a peaceful and workable resolution. Life’s too short to dwell on this. Move it on.

LIBRA: QUEEN OF SWORDS

The Queen of Swords is an ally in your life right now, so use her dynamic, no-bullshit energy to get stuff done! She's a direct, independent force, zooming in on the things that need attention. She'll help you concentrate, analyze, and prioritize the most important tasks. You’re about to get a whole lot done, faster and better than you thought possible.

SCORPIO: TWO OF SWORDS

Stop procrastinating and make your decision, and then move past this troubling crossroads. You’ve been here for too long, staring at the options without taking action. The Two of Swords says "enough's enough!". It will help you see the situation in stark reality, and make your move. It’s time for action.

SAGITTARIUS: SEVEN OF COINS

You've hit a block on a long-term goal, and now you’re trying to figure out what to do next. You might even wonder if you even want to carry on at all. The Seven of Coins can hint that you’re ready to move away from something or someone you’ve had a long history with. Life is all about change, so let go of what's not working.

CAPRICORN: THREE OF COINS

You're an impressive person in the workplace, and your diligence, competence and ambition has not gone unnoticed. The Three of Coins shows that you’re admired and valued by people with influence, and maybe it’s time to capitalize on that goodwill. Get yourself in front of people who can help you and share your goals and plans. They want you to get ahead, and they can help you achieve your goals.

AQUARIUS: JUDGMENT

Judgment is a powerful card about closing down a chapter with a sense of insight and understanding, in order to start something new. It’s a turning point. A chance to process your story so far, make sense of it, and turn the page. All that has happened has prepared you for the journey that lies in front of you. You're ready for whatever comes.

PISCES: FOUR OF SWORDS

The Four of Swords is like a pass from the Universe, telling you it’s okay to retreat to a safe space, rest, relax and take a well-earned time-out. You're an incredibly empathetic and compassionate person, and you absorb the vibes of everything and everyone around you. This is exhausting. You need regular breaks to recharge your batteries and let your emotions settle down. Take a break this week. You deserve it.
