Here's how a tech millionaire (with fashion sense) dresses for work right now

Angela Ahrendts is the senior vice president of retail for Apple. On Tuesday, she presented at the tech company’s first keynote event in New York, wearing a stylish fall outfit. She tied her hair back in a sleek ponytail and wore a white ruffled blouse, gray wool coat, sparkly belt, black skinny trousers, and thick black eye frames. This look seems far from the casual and straightforward Silicon Valley aesthetic Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg helped initiate and one that Apple’s current CEO, Tim Cook, continues to embrace.

However, Ahrendts isn’t your ordinary tech executive. Before joining Apple in 2014, she worked as the CEO of the British fashion house Burberry for eight years, and the success she enjoyed there has continued at Apple. She raked in $28 million in bonuses because Apple’s stock price has tripled since she joined the company. At Burberry, she helped revitalize the brand’s retail stores and e-commerce strategy. Before joining the British company, she worked as the president of Donna Karan International and at Henri Bendel and Liz Claiborne. It’s no surprise, then, that Ahrendts would have style and flair.

If you’re looking for a way to freshen up your work attire this fall, but still want to look professional and stylish, we suggest looking to Ahrendts for style inspiration. Ahead, we show you how to shop her look.
