With just a week to go until Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s highly anticipated interview with Oprah Winfrey airs, the first previews of the primetime special have just been released.

The two promotional videos, aired tonight by CBS and shared with BAZAAR.com, give a first look at the depth of the interviews that took place with the Sussexes at their California home last week. In one clip, Oprah tells viewers, “Just to make it clear to everybody — there is no subject that is off limits.”

Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, can be seen in the promos sitting in front of Oprah at the lush grounds of their Montecito, California home. "Were you silent or were you silenced?” Oprah is heard asking the duchess. “Sounds like there was a breaking point,” the TV legend reacts in another moment shared in the promo.”

The Duke of Sussex, who sat with Meghan for a portion of the interview, is seen admitting that his biggest concern during their time as working members of the royal family “was history repeating itself.”

Making reference to his mother, Princess Diana, the prince says, “You know, for me, I’m just relieved and happy to be sitting here talking to you with my wife by my side, because I can't begin to imagine what it must have been like for her going through this process all those years ago.” Touching images of the late princess and Harry flash on the screen alongside his words.

Harry continues, “It has been unbelievably tough for the two of us, but at least we had each other.” Meghan—who is seen wearing a black, embroidered Armani dress and diamond bracelet believed to once belong to Diana—can be seen nodding in agreement.

Oprah is later seen telling the couple, “You’ve said some pretty shocking things here.”

The media mogul is believed to have spent two-days with the couple for the March 7 special, which CBS confirm to BAZAAR has been extended from 90-minutes to two hours. The wide-ranging interview is said to “cover everything from [Meghan] stepping into life as a royal, marriage, motherhood and philanthropic work, to how she is handling life under intense public pressure,” the network shared in statement earlier this month. “Later, the two are joined by Prince Harry as they speak about their move to the United States and their future hopes and dreams for their expanding family.”

It is the couple’s first sit-down television interview since their 2017 engagement chat with the BBC and the first time they have spoken publicly about their decision to step back from their royal roles in 2020.
