Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia are navigating a whole new format and set of rules on The Bachelorette thanks to ABC choosing chaos and casting two leads, and things definitely have the potential to get awkward. Mostly because Gabby and Rachel are dating the same supersized pool of guys, which means their tastes might overlap. So...what happens when they both like the same person?

The coleads were asked about this potentially tense scenario during an interview with E! News’ Daily Pop and said that they did end up being interested in some of the same men, but things stayed fully drama-free.

“I mean, we just talk,” Rachel said. “I feel like that’s the boring answer. Everyone wants us to fight, but we just talk about what we’re feeling and how we feel for each guy and kind of just come up with a plan.”

That said, there were some issues with the men themselves seemingly pitting Gabby and Rachel against each other. At least based on a trailer for the upcoming season, where we see some of the men undecided about which Bachelorette they like “best.”

The dynamic clearly takes a toll on Rachel, who says during an on-camera interview, “It seems cruel for both of us to be put in this place together. I don’t know how I’m supposed to fall in love when no one gives a shit about me. This is not supposed to be like this.”

Gabby also told Daily Pop that it “feels like we were just there yesterday, and watching it all back, I think, it gives you right back into the energy and into the space that you were. Twitter is honestly the best part about Monday nights. It’s so fun—the good, the bad and the ugly—until something goes wrong and I’m like, ‘Delete. I hate Twitter.’”

Yep to that.
