Here's More Maniacal Big Wave Surfers Charging Nazaré to Blow Your Mind

All eyes have been on Hawaii lately as footage from the Black Friday swell continues to surface.

On top of that, the holding period for the Vans Pipe Masters kicked off today and the opening ceremony of the Eddie Aikau Big Wave Invitational took place at Waimea Bay.

But surf cinematographer Tim Bonython has a fascination with the world's biggest, most beautiful, and monstrous waves.  So while the rest of the surf world was focused on the North Shore, he's been on another level at Nazaré.

The latest edit above from Bonython and Surfing Visions is captioned:

"The Sebastian Show. A lot of hype on this swell so I decided to wack together the better waves from today Friday, 8th December.

"It was not the biggest waves but the 20,000 plus spectators got to see a really good show mostly starring Sebastian Steudtner.

"Enjoy PS - Excuse the specs of dust that must have got on my camera censor before shooting."

The video is close to eight minutes of maniacal big wave surfers towing into continuous bombs at Nazaré.

It's dialogue-free, but at the beginning, Bonython says to the camera:

"Here we are at the home of the world's biggest rideable wave, Nazaré. We got a big day, it's not the biggest day ever. The swell actually is a bit more west than it should be, northwest is what we're looking for. But all the same, there's some huge waves. At the end, we just hope you like the video."
