Here's Who The Rock Thinks Is the 'Nicest Guy in Hollywood'
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is undoubtedly one of the nicest guys working in showbusiness right now, and is constantly extolling the virtues of staying humble and grateful. He also loves to give back to his fans. But when it comes to the actual title of "Hollywood's Nicest Guy?" Johnson believes somebody else deserves that honor.
In a recent US Weekly cover story, a reporter referred to Johnson as "Hollywood's nicest guy," and Johnson took to Instagram to politely decline the title and give it to its rightful owner: Tom Hanks, universally beloved actor and probably the star of your favorite movie.
He also took the opportunity to once again express how much he appreciates the opportunities he has been able to access throughout his career both as a wrestler and, more recently, one of the biggest movie stars on the planet.
"Cheers and thank you @usweekly for putting this kid on your cover," Johnson said. Ia€?ve traveled a very long road from having $7bucks in my pocket to these pretty amazing headlines. I take nothing for granted and treat success as if it has to be earned every single day. And thanks for calling me, Hollywooda€?s nicest guy, BUT I give that crown to my good buddy @tomhanks - hea€?s much nicer and cusses much less e??? Truth is, ita€?s nice to be important, but ita€?s more important to be nice. Thanks again. DJ."
Even when calling somebody else the nicest guy in Hollywood, Johnson manages to come across as the nicest guy in Hollywood. Maybe he and Hanks can share the crown?
