Here's Who Went Home on 'Survivor 44' Tonight
Week 4 saw the game changing in a major way. Find out who got voted out.
One in-game week through Survivor 44, every tribe has been to Tribal Council, and all the idols (and fake idols) have been found. So of course, to highlight how much the game can shift from under you, it did in a major way. Three people were sent on a journey and came back with different buffs, the first form of a swap the show has seen in four seasons. And one player took advantage of the change in the game to create the biggest blindside yet.

Sarah's moods between the two Tribal Councils she attended were like night and day. After losing her vote and her closest ally, she was granted a reprieve from the bottom when she found what she thought was an idol (actually a fake planted by Carolyn). On top of that, a juicy piece of prey walked into the Tika lion's den in the form of newcomer Josh. Even when Josh played his new idol at Tribal Council, Sarah felt safe, as she and Yam Yam had primed him with a fake plan to vote Carolyn. But she was shocked to discover that Carolyn had actually joined up with Josh to vote her out, making her leave with what she thought was a real idol in her pocket.
Were any advantages found or played on Survivor 44 tonight?
The final fake idol from the birdcage was found to open the episode. Sarah discovered it after Carolyn set up a couple of mysteries red "x"s to find the worthless item. Additionally, at the summit, Carson, Jaime, and Josh were each gifted an idol that could be used through the premerge portion of the game. But it came at the cost of having to immediately switch tribes. Carson went to Ratu, Jaime went to Soka, and Josh went to Tika.
