Here's Why the Internet Thinks Jeffree Star and Tati Westbrook are Feuding

From Seventeen

Another day, another apparent beauty community feud, and, allegedly, Jeffree Star is involved (as is Tati Westbrook, formerly of James Charles feud fame). To be fair, Jeffree hasn't confirmed that anything is going on with him and Tati, but some fans have found evidence that things aren't right between the former friends.

Unless you've been living under a rock, you know that Jeffree and Shane Dawson have their highly anticipated Conspiracy palette dropping this Friday. For the past month, the two have been promoting the launch with a YouTube series, and the beauty community is buzzing as they wait for the new ShanexJeffree products.

But, that's not the only recent launch in the beauty world. Last Friday, Tati Westbrook launched her first ever palette and many think that the competing launches is causing some problems between Jeffree and Tati.

To start, Jeffree seems to have unfollowed Tati on Instagram, according to fans. Many have also pointed out that while Tati always congratulates and supports Jeffree during his product launches, Jeffree hasn't said a work about Tati's first ever makeup collection.

"It makes me sad Tati has always supported Jeffree Star giving him praise," someone said on Twitter. "Now it's her time to shine and he unfollows her and doesn't congratulate her. He inserted himself in the whole drama. SMH."

People are also referencing the James Charles/Tati Westbrook drama earlier this year. While Jeffree was friends with both James and Tati before everything went down, Jeffree firmly took Tati's side during the feud. Later though, he admitted that he "jumped the gun on the situation" that he "didn't fully understand," and he apologized to James, saying he should have been a better friend.

It's unclear what Jeffree and Tati's relationship has been like since that drama went down, and if this recent radio silence from both of them is related to that, they're competing palettes, or something totally different. But maybe, just MAYBE there's enough room for two palette launches this Halloween season.
