So Here’s Why Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Haven’t Launched Their Archewell Foundation Yet
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly learned from “mistakes” in their past and aren’t rushing Archewell.
Sources said the couple’s in “no hurry” to launch their foundation and want to take the time to get it right.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle revealed details about their new charitable organization Archewell back in April, but the royal couple has yet to launch the foundation—and they’re reportedly in no rush.
According to Vanity Fair, Meghan and Harry want to take their time getting Archewell right and are opting out of doing a high-profile launch.
“They are in no hurry to launch Archewell, they want to get it right, that’s really important to them,” a source told royal reporter Katie Nicholl. “This is something that they want to do for the rest of their lives, so they’re not going to be pressured into launching something that’s still in the relatively early stages of development.”
That said, the charitable work they’re doing at the moment is tied to the organization:
“Everything they’re doing at the moment is part of Archewell,” a source explained. “Whether COVID, BLM, or their ongoing charity work, it’s all part of how they’re working on Archewell and developing their work and focus going forward. Their team have been working on hate speech issues and tech-for-good behind the scenes since the beginning of the year. It was the focus of their visit to Stanford in February.”
Sounds like Meghan and Harry are handling the launch of Archewell in a super-thoughtful way, and a “well-placed source” adds that “they have learned from the mistakes of the past and are taking their time with Archewell. They want to get the next stage right.”
