We Asked A Tarot Card Reader To Break Down Where Each Zodiac Sign Should Focus Their Energy For March 2022
Welcome to your March tarot card reading! ?
My name is Taylor Boyd from Queen Tay Tarot, and I’m an intuitive tarot reader.
Before we dive into your tarot card reading for March, I wanted to give some background on where the use of tarot cards came from and how they're used today and why — so let's dive in, shall we?
The History:
My Chemical Romance / Via Giphy
Tarot is a form of divination that was first documented in 1400s Italy, but is thought to have even older roots with some tribes in Africa. The cards depict representations of universal themes or archetypes that can be used to recognize common patterns of behaviors in ourselves (individually) and for a more collective whole (society).
Tarot is also closely related to astrology, the Kabbala, and many other spiritual systems of belief, as they use many of the same symbology or architypes.
The Cards:
Another Man / Via Giphy
The traditional structure of the tarot deck includes 78 cards total and can be broken up into four distinct sections: The Major Arcana, Minor Arcana, Court Cards, and Aces.
The structure of the tarot is also based heavily on astrology because it incorporates the 12 zodiac signs in combination with the 10 planets to make up the 22 Major Arcana cards — and the Minor Arcana (excluding the Aces and Pages) are each ruled by a specific zodiac sign.
How to Use Tarot Cards:
Polyvinyl Records / Via Giphy
As with all tools, tarot can be used in both healthy and unhealthy ways. The cards themselves are but a neutral medium to be used for self-reflection and objective perspective, and it is all about how they're put into practice.

Pro Tip: I would recommend starting a tarot practice that is centered around conceptualizing and understanding themes, large and small, in your life.
Below are March tarotscopes (aka your tarot card reading) for each zodiac sign! You can check for your sun sign, moon sign, or rising sign (also known as the "Big Three").
As you're reading the messages, try not to force them to resonate with you, and instead allow them to be a gentle guide for you as you navigate this next month.
Aries (March 21–April 19):
VICE / Via Giphy
Tarot Card: Three of Wands
The Prediction:
The three of wands is a card of waiting and knowing that your previous decisions are going to yield your intended results. Remain confident and patient this month, as you know that your actions will lead you further down the path of success.
Why? Because things will flow steadily and smoothly this month as long as you hold your end goal in sight. It may seem like you need to take direct action, but this energy is more about maintenance of action that's already been taken and the allowance of things to naturally fall into place.
Taurus (April 20–May 20):
Nickelodeon / Via Giphy
Tarot Card: Eight of Wands
The Prediction:
The Eight of Wands screams “quick, fast, and in a hurry." Some of you will get a new job opportunity that is time-sensitive. This means you may only have a short time to decide whether or not you want to take a leap of faith, so try not to overthink it.
If you’ve been feeling in a rut, this card also brings the possibility of excitement and newness out of nowhere. For most of you, this new opportunity is worth the deep dive!
Gemini (May 21–June 20):
NBC / Via Giphy
Tarot Card: King of Wands
The Prediction:
The kings represent a level of mastery in the tarot, so with this being the King of Wands, you'll be feeling more confident and creative this month.
This energy brings a sense of charm and charisma, so this will be a great time to explore all types of relationships with people, too. You may also feel especially attractive when it comes to manifesting, so don’t be afraid to ask for things you need (i.e., a raise, an extra hand moving, negotiating a price, etc.). Creation, manifestation, and relationships are all your friends in March.
Cancer (June 21–July 22):
Holly Logan / Via Giphy
Tarot Card: Queen of Swords
The Prediction:
Swords usually represent the energy of communication, words, or thought — so this month, you’re being guided to set healthy but firm boundaries with the people around you. This could be within your family or circle of close friends.
Setting boundaries could be uncomfortable territory for you, so make sure you understand your needs and what you want to say beforehand to help boost your confidence. You got this!
Leo (July 23–Aug. 22):
Pepsi India / Via Giphy
Tarot Card: Ace of Wands
The Prediction:
The Aces in tarot are shrouded in new beginnings and excitement. With this being the Ace of Wands (wands represent your element of fire), this month will feel like a birthday wish come true.
You have an exciting opportunity coming for you that will make you feel so held, celebrated, and seen by the universe. This could materialize by the first day or week of the month. Congratulations are in order!
Virgo (Aug. 23–Sept. 22):
Girl I Guess Pod / Via Giphy
Tarot Card: The High Priestess
The Prediction:
This card is the Major Arcana of Pisces, which is the zodiac sign opposite to you on the zodiac wheel. You’re being called to be open to perspectives different than your own this month.
It may be really challenging for you to step outside of your natural way of viewing things, but if you try to expand your way of seeing things a little, you may actually like what you find. The quickest path to growth is understanding your opposition.
Libra (Sept. 23–Oct. 22):
VH1 / Via Giphy
Tarot Card: The Strength
The Prediction:
Don’t let the haters get you down this month. You're really thriving and shining bright, but there are people around you who don’t want to see you doing well.
Try to focus on your own inner glow and the people who love and support you. There could be a Leo around you who will give a huge boost to your confidence, so definitely lean on them if you need to.
Scorpio (Oct. 23–Nov. 21):
NBC / Via Giphy
Tarot Card: The Sun
The Prediction:
A long-awaited recognition is coming in for you — and it feels like perfect timing. The Sun is not only the happiest card in the tarot deck but also has the big and bold energy of Leo, so I see this recognition of having a public sense to it as well.
This card says you’re getting exactly what you wished for and more, so be ready. Are you ready to feel like you’re in the spotlight?
Sagittarius (Nov. 22–Dec. 21):
ABC / Via Giphy
Tarot Card: The Star
The Prediction:
The Star card represents our overall direction in life and our biggest dreams. So while you may have a goal or a dream in mind, you may find yourself overwhelmed with the steps you have to take to get there.
For some reason, even though you feel so called to follow a certain path, you get super discouraged when it comes to planning or taking the steps you know you need to take. This card has a larger arc to it, too, so remind yourself that these things take time, and you don’t have to have everything planned out beforehand.
Capricorn (Dec. 22–Jan. 19):
GIPHY Studios Originals / Via Giphy
Tarot Card: Page of Wands
The Prediction:
If you put yourself out there, it can pay off this month. The Page of Wands can give off a flirtatious energy, so if some of you ask out a crush or put your feelings out there, it will most likely go extremely well.
Sometimes Capricorns can be a little shy, so this display of going after what you want is a big accomplishment for you. Good for you for pushing the boundaries of your comfort zone!
Aquarius (Jan. 20–Feb. 18):
Disney / Via Giphy
Tarot Card: Ace of Pentacles
The Prediction:
You’ve recently submitted an application for something, and, good news, you're most likely to be selected! This could be something academic or related to work, but, either way, you're very proud of yourself for this achievement.
Some of you may have almost not bothered to apply for this, but you're so happy you did. Congrats!
Pisces (Feb. 19–March 20):
HBO / Via Giphy
Tarot Card: Page of Cups
The Prediction:
You're feeling right at home this month, Pisces! The Page of Cups dares you to dream big and watch things unfold before you. Some of you may struggle with your imagination or believing in yourself, but this card taps directly into your inner child and asks you to put your faith into something bigger than yourself.
If you've always had a dream you’ve wanted to bring into reality, you may start to feel the momentum building toward your goal this month. What would happen if you didn’t limit the possibilities in your life?
