Hershey’s Kisses New Meltaway Roses Take Chocolate Up a Notch for Valentine’s Day
Whether you’re single or in a relationship (or somewhere in between) you can’t possibly have a proper Valentine’s Day without a ton of chocolate. Hershey’s Kisses are especially appropriate on Feb. 14, just from the name alone, but the brand has taken them a step further to solidify them in your candy bowl.
The new Hershey’s Kisses Meltaway Roses feature the iconic milk chocolate shell and have what is described as a velvety smooth meltaway center. Based off the packaging, the Kisses almost look like they have a cake-like middle, so we can’t wait to dive into these. Each piece is wrapped in red foil with a rose flower design, so they’re the perfect accompaniment to any romantic or funny Valentine’s Day gift.
You can expect to see the limited-edition flavor in 9-ounce bags for $3.69. They’ll be rolling out nationwide in the New Year, a PR rep confirmed to Best Products.
In addition to the new Valentine’s Day-inspired Kisses, Hershey’s is also putting the Lava Cake variety — which was introduced in 2019 and brought back in 2020 — on shelves again. These are also a chocolate lover’s dream, because they consist of dark chocolate with a gooey chocolate center. For 2021, however, they’ve received a packaging makeover with a purple theme instead of pink.
The Meltaway Roses are perfect for milk chocolate lovers, and the Lava Cake will speak to those who prefer a dark variety. And if you like both? Well, lucky you.
