High schools are having 'Meme Days,' and the costumes are incredible
Schools across the country are stepping up their game for homecoming, adding in a number of events and days into their week- or monthlong celebrations. At many high schools, Meme Day has been added to Spirit Week. Exactly as it sounds, the day is dedicated to the many viral memes that take over the internet, allowing students to hilariously dress up as their favorites. From the looks of photos and videos posted on Twitter, kids these days really know how to bring the internet to life.
In tweets documenting different Meme Days at various schools, teens have been seen re-creating almost ever celebrity, character, or stock image that has gained popularity on the web. From Salt Bae and old-school Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, to Bretman Rock and even Bad Girls Club’s Tanisha, you have to see these epic remakes.

Two fan favorites are the videos below, inspired by Bad Girls Club and, of course, Bretman Rock. The first is a re-creation of the Oxygen hit series’ Season 2 favorite, Tanisha, who famously sang a song while banging baking sheets together to keep the girls in the house awake.

The last is an almost identical impression of Bretman, a beauty guru who initially made a name for himself on Vine. The best part is that the student did his own amazing makeup.
