This High-Speed Florida Train Lets You Explore From Orlando To The Palm Beaches
Time for a road trip, except with more time for snacks and less driving.
Did you know that you can now explore two major Florida regions in one day? Thanks to the Sunshine State’s new Brightline train, which officially debuted its Orlando-to-Miami service in September last year, locals and visitors alike have quick and easy access to both Central and South Florida for the perfect Florida road trip, without the driving. While you can certainly plan a day trip, consider a long weekend—or even a full week—to explore both regions. You can stay awhile in both regions with a car rental to best explore all the destinations offer, while also enjoying the view on the train rides between.
Here's everything to know about Florida's new Brightline train ride, including how to book, scenic stops along the route, and best things to do while you're there.

Know the Route
Connecting Central Florida to the vibrant pulse of South Florida, Brightline reduces travel time and eliminates the stress of driving, traffic delays, congestion, and parking. Instead, it reaches speeds up to 125 mph, making the journey from the Orlando station to the West Palm Beach station in about two hours. And it delivers a stressless experience, seamlessly blending convenience, high-quality travel, and a picturesque landscape along the way.
As the train glides along the east coast, soak in Florida's diverse scenery, from the traffic buzzing along Route 528 to swaying palm trees to the serene bay views between Cocoa and West Palm Beach along Port Saint Lucie.
At the train’s first South Florida stop, Brightline drops you off in West Palm Beach in the heart of the Square—a modern downtown district that’s close to the beach. Additional Brightline train stops take you further south to Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, Aventura, and Miami.
