Hilarie Burton Makes Major Prediction for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce

Hilarie Burton is calling it as she sees it—and if her prediction is correct, wedding bells could be in Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's not-so-distant future.

The One Tree Hill star took to social media to react to Swift changing her lyrics to "Karma" as a nod to her NFL boyfriend during an Eras Tour concert in Argentina. Instead of singing the original "Karma is the guy on the screen / Coming straight home to me," she switched things up with, "Karma is the guy on the Chiefs / Coming straight home to me."

On Nov. 12, Burton took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to retweet a video clip of the viral lyric change.

“They are gonna have the most flannel lined, pie and red ribbon kinda Christmas,” she predicted. “And then these babies are gonna be engaged by May.”

Fellow X users seemed to support Burton's look into the future. One person commented, "I say February if he wins the superbowl! February 14th precisely."

Another X user wrote, "I agree. He is proud of her and clearly has no problem publicly showing his feelings. They both look so happy and I wish them the absolute best."

Yet another person commented, "Ok I guess it’s for real, she’s never done that for any other guy."

To that, the actress replied, "Because every other guy made her feel like she had to downplay her own work. This big ol beefy tree of a man is holding up signs and singing along! Catching her as she runs offstage?!?! Just saying….strong @JDMorgan energy. Get a man who lights up when you win."

Of course, Burton's "catching her as she runs offstage" comment is about the other viral moment from Kelce's first Eras Tour concert as Swift's official boyfriend. Following the show, the pop star was filmed running into her beau's arms for a passionate kiss.

The bottom line is: If Swift and Kelce get engaged in May 2024, then Burton totally called it.
