Hillary Clinton Addresses Husband’s Infidelity in ‘Gutsy’ Trailer
Staying with Bill Clinton was the 'gutsiest' thing she ever did.
Former senator and secretary of state, Hillary Clinton and her daughter, Chelsea, are gearing up for the big release of their new show: Gutsy.
In honor of the big premiere (which is a little over two weeks away), Apple TV+ finally released the official trailer for the show. In it, Hillary addresses her husband's infamous infidelity.
In the clip, Clinton is asked by Reverend Whittney Ijanaten, a chaplain who specializes in LGBTQ marriages, about her decision to stay with former president Bill Clinton after his affair with a much younger former White House aide, Monica Lewinsky, became public.
Her response? Even though she considers staying with her unfaithful husband to be the gutsiest thing she ever did, "that doesn't mean it's right for everyone," she said.
The upcoming series is based on the Clintons’ acclaimed New York Times bestselling book, The Book of Gutsy Women, and is said to utilize Hillary and Chelsea's mother-daughter bond to offer a multi-generational approach to important and timely issues.
The series invites viewers to join the two Clinton women as they set out on adventures and host thought-provoking conversations with some of the world’s boldest and bravest women. From household names to unsung heroes, the show is said to feature Gloria Steinem, Jane Goodall, Kim Kardashian, Megan Thee Stallion, Goldie Hawn, and Kate Hudson; plus many more artists, activists, and community leaders.
The mother-daughter duo hopes to inspire fans to be more gutsy—and maybe laugh a little along the way—with the series premiere of Gutsy on Sept. 9.
