Hillary Clinton stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to chat about her campaign and remained very diplomatic through it all, as politicians tend to be. If she gets the Democratic nomination, Clinton could possibly be up against one of the very controversial GOP candidates, Donald Trump or Ben Carson, both of whom are decidedly not as experienced as Clinton is in the political landscape.

Colbert asked Clinton if she would prefer to run against Trump or Carson, but the presidential hopeful opted not to choose. “I’m going to leave that up to the Republicans,” she replied. We guess when you’re a political pro like Hillary Clinton, it’s probably all the same anyway.

Of course, no October interview with a politician would be complete without the obligatory questions about Halloween, in this case, the suggested DIY Hillary Clinton Halloween costumes her team put out, which are basically Hillary’s greatest fashion hits. Our personal favorite is the “cold shoulder” look inspired by a Donna Karan dress with cutout shoulders Clinton wore in the 90s. The instructions on how to get the look include cutting the shoulders out of a black turtleneck, but if you’re not feeling particularly crafty, ASOS has a similar version of the dress.

So, if anyone has anything to say about Ms. Clinton’s sartorial tastes, just remember that her high fashion classics from 20 years ago are today’s trendy clubbing fare. Don’t you ever forget it.
