Hoda Kotb Wears Matching Rainbow Costumes With Ex Joel Schiffman in Adorable Family Photos With Daughters

Hoda Kotb had quite a colorful Halloween!
In photos shared via Instagram on Wednesday, Nov. 1, the Today anchor detailed how she spent the spooky fall holiday with her two daughters Hope, 4, and Haley, 6.
The family participated in the usual festivities of the day, trick-or-treating, as they hit the streets to get their hands on some sweet goodies—"New York style."
For the evening of fun, the girls were dressed as a blue and purple butterfly and sparkly pink princess, respectively, while Kotb appeared as jolly as could be in a rainbow costume.

Some of the social media footage featured the girls popping into nearby stores and shops to ask for candy additions for their buckets, and the last shot featured their dad, the broadcast journalist's ex-fiancé, Joel Schiffman.
The family of four leaned in for the selfie-style image, with the financier, for his part, matching the longtime broadcast journalist in an identical rainbow costume.
While the 59-year-old often shares peeks into her life as a mom of two, it is not often that her former beau is displayed in the content, so fans in the comment section were delighted to see the crew all together again for the rare, yet wildly adorable moment.
"Love this so much for so many reasons. So happy for you to be living this life full of joy, so happy for your girls who are so loved and so happy for you and Joel whose love for these girls trumps any awkwardness. That's how successful co parenting works!" one applauded.
"Good to see Joel enjoying Halloween with his girls. ??," another agreed, as a third chimed in, "Nice to see Joel being part of this ??," and a fourth followed-up, "Very cute both girls! And Mom and Dad were rocking those Rainbows costumes! Glad to see the family together. ??."
Schiffman and Kotb were together for nearly a decade, dating for eight years from 2014 to 2022, being engaged the last two of them. During their time together, they adopted their two children, and though they are no longer an item, they continue to amicably co-parent their daughters.
"We have a really nice situation set up," she told HELLO! last year following the split. "We will spend some time together, and then Joel will spend some time just with the girls."
We love to see a happy family, no matter what that may look like!
