Hoda Kotb's Daughters Delight Fans With Rare Appearance on 'Today' Show

The Today show got a very special treat ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday: a visit from Hoda Kotb's daughters!
Haley Joy and Hope Catherine joined their mom for Wednesday's broadcast of fan-favorite morning talk show Today With Hoda & Jenna. Also tagging along with Kotb's daughters were her nieces, Ella and Hannah, who are in town for the holiday weekend.
"It is a special morning because my whole family is here," Kotb gushed during the episode airing on Nov. 22.
Haley Joy, 6, Hope Catherine, 4, and the rest of the Kotb fam proceeded to help the 59-year-ol media personality and her co-host Jenna Bush Hager play the Thanksgiving edition of a game called "Yuck or Yum."
Each guest brings out a holiday specialty, and the two broadcasters must determine if the delicacy is delicious or disappointing (hence the name of the game).
Up first was Haley Joy, who delivered two full-size scoops of Baskin-Robbins' Flavor of the Month–Turkey Day Fixin's ice cream–which scored a "Yum" from both mom, Hager and Haley Joy.

Next was Hope Catherine, who, after some enticing, brought over a plate of Campbell's Soup and Phillip Ashley's limited-edition "Holiday Sides" Truffles. Kotb and Hager were brave enough to try a Green Bean Casserole candy and truffle flavored like Stuffing, but to their dismay, asked lil' Hope to "hold up the side that says 'Yuck.'"
Last but not least came Ella and Hannah, who served up some Aura Bora "Green Bean Casserole" sparkling waters, which scored a "Yuck" from Kotb but a "Yum" from Hager.
The two young girls also made a cameo during another segment, which discussed the upcoming Thanksgiving Day Parade and subsequent coverage.
In the clip, Kotb explained to Hager that she has a special signal she employs during the holiday coverage to let her daughters know she's thinking of them.
"Well, Haley and Hope think I should do a blow-a-kiss," Kotb stated before her co-star inquired about previous years' signals.
"But, Haley, what has she normally done?" Hager asked.
"She normally pulls her ear," she shared from the sidelines.
Then, the two moms revealed they also have signals for each other.
"What I usually do for Jenna, and she does it for me too, is on the air, before we go on, there's usually lipstick right here," Kotb said while pointing to her front teeth. "So what about this move?" she joked, repeating the lipstick-wiping motion.
"I told her that might be too dramatic," Hager quipped back. "But I'm into it. So, will you really do that?"
"If you double dog dare me, I'll do it," Kotb responded.
To which Hager replied, "I triple dog dare you."
Well, folks, keep your eyes peeled for Kotb's super "casual" signal tomorrow morning.
