“He’s a wild lamb. He’s kind of rambunctious. If he wasn’t close to his friend, he would run around and try to escape from the yard,” Ryan said. “We live on a farm, but this is my first time showing animals.”

Makenzie Collins, 15, won the Grand Champion for Photography, Next Level, in her second year of competition.

“We had multiple activities. The picture they loved the most was of Lake Erie, with the lighthouse in Port Clinton, as the sun set,” Makenzie said. “I’m going to state (competition) in two weeks. Hopefully, I’ll place there and then I’ll have a title.”

This is the first time Makenzie will go to the state competition. More immediately, she’s looking forward to photographing several friends at the fair as they compete in their 4-H clubs.
