When it comes to collabs, there’s nothing we love more than two of our favorite brands joining forces to create something that completely blows us away. So when we heard that HOKA partnered up with Free People’s FP Movement line to create a collection of four limited edition sneakers, we couldn’t help but get excited. After all, you’re bound to get the podiatrist-approved comfort and support that you’d expect from a HOKA shoe with the cool, boho-chic vibe of Free People. Sounds like a win-win to us!

Now, when two powerhouse brands come together, it’s going to get people excited. Naturally, when the collection first dropped last spring, it pretty much sold out in all styles fast. Since we’re big fans of both brands, we kept our eye out for any restocks. We’re happy to tell you, the time has come. Free People quietly restocked the HOKA x FP Movement Clifton 9, but you’ll want to act fast because sizes are already selling out.
When the HOKA x FP Movement Collection first dropped, it featured the Kawana 2, the Clifton L, and the oh-so popular Clifton 9 in limited edition colorways and patterns. The two iconic brands actually teamed up once before back in 2022 and was super successful (naturally). According to a press release, the April 2024 collection was inspired by both brand’s shared goal of empowering the adventurous spirit within all of us. So, you’re sure to find brand new colorways that really speak to that.
As fans of both brands, we can confidently say the collection did not disappoint. The new Clifton 9 options features the dreamiest colors, while the Clifton L suede is very Free People. Given the popularity of both brands, we highly doubt these will stay in stock for long. They’re mostly sold out at HOKA, but there are several sizes of the Clifton 9 that are still available to snag at Free People. So, be sure to grab a pair before they sell out.

HOKA’s Clifton 9 is a popular style among shoppers for being lightweight, breathable, and super, super comfortable. You can pretty much wear these all day long without needing to take them off. In fact, numerous shoppers have said these feel like walking on clouds. An earlier variation of the style has even been spotted on celebs like Cameron Diaz. This new Cirrus shade from the HOKA x FP Movement collection features pretty watercolor-like shades that are perfect year-round.
HOKA X FREE PEOPLE COLLAB
Clifton L Suede FPM in Ocean

$175
We are loving the retro look and feel of the Clifton L Suede from the HOKA x FP Movement collection. These were designed to be ultra lightweight and feature a “cushy, compression molded” insole. While it’s hard to pick just one favorite from the new drop, this one’s definitely one of our faves.
The following styles are currently sold out on both Free People and HOKA. However, you never know when these might get restocked. So, be sure to bookmark this page for updates.
HOKA X FREE PEOPLE COLLAB
Clifton 9 FPM in Eggnog
$150
$150
If you’d rather have a shoe that’s a little more versatile in color (though you can totally sport the above with anything you want), consider the Clifton 9 in eggnog. We adore the light purple and blue accents, they’re so cute. Plus, you get the same great features as all the Clifton 9s including the compression molded EVA midsole for durability and comfort.
HOKA X FREE PEOPLE COLLAB
Kawana 2 FPM in White
$145
The HOKA Kawana 2 features a single-layer mesh upper for breathability and a thin, sock-like internal bootie that perfectly fits around your feet, keeping them in place. These are great for running on all surfaces, and feature HOKA’s infamous support and comfort as well. Not only that, it looks absolutely gorgeous. Like the above, these sold out fast when they initially dropped and are still out of stock at Hoka. However, you can join the waitlist at Free People.
