Hold On, Did Ed Sheeran Secretly Get Married?
Ed Sheeran has kept very quiet about wedding plans since announcing his engagement to long-time girlfriend Cherry Seaborn, but in a recent interview, hey may have let it slip that he's already married.
A reporter at Access asked him, "What about the wedding details? Have you picked a date? Do you know where? Do you know when yet?"
And instead of giving a solid answer, Ed reportedly fumbled for a bit and then just pointed at his ring finger, where he already wears a wedding band Cherry gave him as an engagement ring. The journalist took that to mean he was already married.
"That's exciting! Congratulations my friend! Congratulations!," he said. How did you sneak that one?"
Ed responded by saying, "Well I never do anything too public anyway."
Now, this is not technically a confirmation, but it seems like there are about 1,000 ways you could answer the above question about wedding details without giving too much away, which is what it seems like Ed was trying to do. If you're going to dodge, do something other than pointing at your ring finger, Ed!
The couple announced their engagement in January, with Ed telling fans on Instagram, "Got myself a fiancé just before new year. We are very happy and in love, and our cats are chuffed as well xx"
