These New Holiday Target Perks Rival Amazon Prime (Without the Membership Fee)

Target is quickly becoming a one-stop shop for holiday purchases. Yesterday, the retailer announced exciting deals and delivery options starting November 1 designed to ease holiday stress.
Perhaps the most appealing holiday perk is the arrival of free two-day shipping on thousands of items. Think Amazon Prime without the membership fee. There’s no minimum purchase, either! For an added price, Target is also offering same-day delivery with Shipt. Available in 46 states, this delivery option can have products to your doorstep in just one hour.
With the holiday season nearing, Target is expanding its drive-up service as well. You might have noticed drive-up spaces reserved in the parking lot of your local Target store—these are for customers who’ve placed an order in the Target app. Employees bring your bags out to your car within two minutes of your arrival; just give them an hour to round up your order!
If you’d rather shop inside a store to browse the Target Dollar Spot (and maybe get a Starbucks beverage), you can still use order pickup to help with holiday shopping. Have family members send you links to their wish list, add items to your cart, select "Order Pickup" online, and it will be ready for you in the store within an hour. This is the stress-free holiday shopping we’ve been waiting for.
Finally, Target urges customers to use Target Restock during the holiday hustle. This next-day delivery service aims to fill your home with home essentials that might slip through the cracks while you’re busy preparing for the next holiday party. Items like paper towels, lotion, granola bars, and detergent are all available to ship next day for just $2.99, or for free with the Target REDcard.
It looks like big-box stores are finally catching up to Amazon’s reign on holiday shopping—and it’s not even Black Friday yet!
