Holiday's hottest toy? Crafty kids are loving this friendship bracelet maker that's under $25
Making friendship bracelets is a time-honored tradition, but it takes some serious time and effort to get each bracelet just right. And if you make a mistake along the way, you either have to live with it or start all over again.
Now, Cool Maker has a device that helps kids make friendship bracelets seamlessly: the KumiKreator Friendship Bracelet Maker. It made Walmart’s top 40 toy list — an elite group of the season’s most wanted toys picked by hundreds of kids and road-tested by 25 pint-size toy experts — and it’s just $24.84 at Walmart.com.
The process is pretty simple. Kids choose from one of several different types of bracelets they want to create. Then, they select the color threads they want in their bracelet and load them into the machine in the designated areas (you can watch the process in the videos below).
Once all the threads are loaded, kids simply turn the handle on the bracelet maker and keep cranking until they get the bracelet the length they want. Kids can measure their wrists to determine how long they want their bracelet to be, adjust the bracelet accordingly, remove it from the machine, and voila — a friendship bracelet! The whole process takes just a few minutes.
The Cool Maker KumiKreator Friendship Bracelet Maker comes with enough thread to make 10 bracelets. (You can buy more thread down the road to make even more bracelets.)
