'Home Alone' Star Macaulay Culkin Finally Being Honored With Hollywood Milestone

Macaulay Culkin, known for playing Kevin in Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, is finally getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, becoming the 2,765th star in total so far.
The organization announced the news on its Instagram account on Wednesday, Nov. 15, saying, "Actor Macaulay Culkin will be honored with the 2,765th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday, December 1st, at 11:30 a.m. PT." The post also shared other details, noting that Culkin's star will be at 6353 Hollywood Blvd and in the Motion Pictures category.
Steve Nissen, who is the president and CEO of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce (HCC), will be the emcee, while actresses Catherine O’Hara and Natasha Lyonne will be speakers at the event. The Dec. 1 ceremony will also be broadcast live on walkoffame.com.
Fans were very excited about the news, with someone writing on the post, "He deserves it! ????????????good choice! Much respect for him!"
"Well-deserved," was a common statement from fans in the comments, while one person shared, "Yay! ?? ?? What took so long? And I thought he already had one ??."
"This is awesome ???? we love him always," said another.
Along with the Home Alone franchise, Culkin has many impressive roles, with a few other popular projects being My Girl, Richie Rich, and The Good Son. While he has taken a few breaks here and there from acting, most recently, he appeared in American Horror Story and The Righteous Gemstones, along with some voice work.
In his personal life, Culkin has been with fellow actor Brenda Song since 2017, when they met on the set of the film Changeland. They welcomed a son named Dakota in early 2021, before getting engaged in January 2022.
The two have remained mum on wedding details, but in the time since getting engaged, they've welcomed their second child, a son named Carson.
