HomeGoods Is Opening a Limited-Time Sleepaway Camp and, Yes, You Can Visit
Imagine filling up your cart with all of the HomeGoods items of your dreams, pretending that money is no object. Well, for a few days, you just might be able to soak in all of the HomeGoods styles your heart desires. HomeGoods is launching a limited-time Finder's Camp at Camp Lokanda in Glen Spey, New York. This Catskills-based camp feels just like the kind of place you might run into your long-lost identical twin, a la The Parent Trap.
If you're a summer camp pro or a first-timer, the HomeGoods Finder's Camp is an outrageously fun blast from the past, but don't you worry: it's far more glamping than it is camping. Although, you are outdoors, so you may see a bug or two. Pack your bug spray!
I had the opportunity to stay at the Finder's Camp for a couple of days to check it out and found it to be a delightful reprieve from city life. Camp Lokanda is about two hours away from NYC, located near the Pennsylvania border. It's surrounded by mountains, lush greenery and rivers.
If you're hoping to get the chance to stay in this HomeGoods superfan haven, read on to find out how you can make it happen.

10 Cabin Options
There are 10 cabins all decked out in HomeGoods merch, each with a theme of their own. Some may fit your personal vibe a bit better than others, but each is so gorgeous that you simply can't go wrong. Each cabin sleeps a minimum of two people and a maximum of six, so gather your girls!
1. Pink Pine Cabin
If Barbie had a cabin, this is what it would look like. It's all decked out in all things, you guessed it, pink! While you might think a pink-on-pink room sounds like a bit much, this room is so well-decorated that you'll find yourself wishing you could live in an all-pink house all the time.
2. Eclectic Grandpa Elm Cabin
Featuring masculine woods, navy blues, greens and plenty of car decor, this cabin is "like visiting grandpa's, if grandpa was a style icon." I don't know about you, but my grandpa couldn't design a space half as well-styled as this one!
3. Zest Friend Forest Cabin
This cabin is for fans of bright citrusy colors. Think lemon yellow, lime green and bright orange. This space features seamless pattern-mixing and, of course, plenty of lemon-themed decorations.
4. Paradise Palm Cabin
Paradise Palm is the perfect cabin for those who love a tropical vacay. It features all sorts of island-inspired decor in a variety of bold hues.
5. Ballerina Beech Cabin
Adorned in florals and pastels, this cabin is pretty, preppy and just a tad shabby-chic. The space features ornate mirrors and scalloped touches at every turn.
6. Grandma's Grove Cabin
If you're a fan of Nancy Meyers movies and wish you could spend all your days on Cape Cod or Nantucket, then this is the cabin for you. It's the ultimate coastal grandma retreat. It features blues and whites and plenty of chinoiserie.
7. Bookworm Birch Cabin
Book lovers, this one is for you. The Bookworm Birch Cabin is packed with, you guessed it, books! There are several cozy spots for you to curl up with your favorite reads. The cabin features a moody color palette with plenty of plush furniture.
8. Traveler's Teak Cabin
Traveler's Teak Cabin highlights HomeGoods' wide variety of international decorative pieces. The room features plenty of interesting textures and patterns. It's the perfect spot for the bohemian traveler.
9. Home Sweet Hickory Cabin
This cabin is super neutral, cozy and classy. It's the kind of space that feels like a breath of fresh air. It's designed to be a space meant for homebodies who value having a space that makes them feel calm, cool and collected.
10. Western Willow Cabin
When you hear Western Willow you might think it sounds a bit like the Mojo Dojo Casa House. But think again! Yes, there are some horse-themed pieces, but this place is far more Margot Robbie than it is Ryan Gosling. The Western Willow cabin features a variety of neutral hues, bringing to life a chic-yet-western vibe.
Dining Options
Would it be a proper camp experience without dining in the mess hall? The HomeGoods Finder's Camp has decked out the mess hall with decorative dishware and kitschy mugs. All meals will be prepared by a chef on site. Some meals will be served family-style, while others are served as a more casual buffet. Dietary restrictions will also be noted.
During my stay, we enjoyed a lavish breakfast spread, complete with a variety of quiches, fruit salad, pastries and avocado toast. For lunch, we had a delightful cobb salad with house-made dressing, sweet potato fries corn salad and some well-dressed dill-roasted potatoes. Dinner was served family-style and featured a Mediterranean spread of hummus, tzatziki, sausage, meat and fish skewers, cucumber salad and more.

5 of the Most Fun Activities at the HomeGoods Finder's Camp
1. Trailblazing Treasure Hunt
Shopping at HomeGoods can often feel like a bit of a treasure hunt. On this trip, you'll be heading out on a real one. Guests will head out into the woods on a Trailblazing Treasure Hunt to search for HomeGoods goodies to keep! Candles, potholders, cutting boards, you name it, are all out in the woods for you to race to get your hands on. I took home a sandalwood-scented oil diffuser, pink doggy poo bags and a disco ball mushroom decor piece from my time on the scavenger hunt.
2. Finder's Camp Beach
Looking to chill out a bit? Head on over to the Finder's Camp Beach. It's got lounge chairs, fringe-adorned umbrellas and a lifeguard to look over you as you take a dip in the lake. Maybe even bring a book and take in a bit of sunshine as you look out into the calming waters of Lochada Lake.
3. The Stitch Studio
You might even find yourself leaving the Catskills with a brand new hobby! Take part in this class to learn how to embroider your own linens. They've got napkins, tablecloths, blankets, dish towels and more for you to stitch with your own personalization. Even if you're not the crafty sewing sort (I know I'm not!), you might find that this hobby is a nice way to relax.
4. The Gardening Gazebo
Time to get your hands dirty, or your super cute HomeGoods gardening gloves, rather. Get your hands on some pots that fit your home's aesthetic and get to planting. They offer various plants and herbs to make your house more of a home. If you've got more of a "black thumb," that's okay too. The planters will make cute decor for later even if the plants don't last all that long.
5. Spooky Stories & S'mores
Is the HomeGoods Halloween section your favorite way to ring in October? Then you'll love their Spooky Stories & S'Mores campfire event. It's decked out with skulls, cozy throws and plush pillows. You'll sit around the campfire telling stories and roasting jumbo marshmallows. Of course, you can build out some s'mores too. The ultimate camp activity!
