Officer Brian Zagorski, of Niles, saw the homeless man tripping as he was walking, due to one of his shoes missing a sole, at around 5pm on Saturday. "That's exactly what kind of officers we need," another wrote. "God bless him and keep him safe."
While the officer has not talked to the man since Saturday, he said he plans to keep an out for him should he need any more help, as well as others who may need assistance.
