Jun. 10—COLUMBUS — Organizers have announced a change of venue for the annual fundraising Our Hospice Summer Concert. Get ready to experience an unforgettable evening on Saturday, August 31, at the new Circle K Fieldhouse at NexusPark!

Get ready to groove to the rhythms of soul-blues singer, Jennie DeVoe, followed by The Rock Show: The Ultimate Tribute to Journey and The Woomblies Rock Orchestra, each bringing their unique style and energy to the stage. From soulful melodies to electrifying beats, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

"We are so excited about the new era of Our Hospice Summer Concert. We will be the first concert at NexusPark, an indoor weather-proof venue with three fantastic performances for our community. The changes to this year's venue and musical lineup will ensure that we make every moment count with memories that will last a lifetime," Steph Cain, Our Hospice President, said.

Our Hospice Concert is the largest fundraiser of the year providing support for the almost 300 patients and their families cared for in 22 counties in south central Indiana.

"We believe everyone deserves the best end-of-life-care and the concert helps us raise much-needed funds to support high-quality, compassionate care for all," said Cain.

Events and Volunteer Services Manager Julie Davis said, "The concert will look different this year and we are excited to have Dunlap General and Mechanical Contractors as a Title Sponsor and Columbus Regional Health as a Partner Sponsor. We look forward to additional sponsors joining them and us in our mission to make every moment count."

This year's event will be inside the Circle K Fieldhouse at NexusPark and will be a ticketed event as space is limited. Tickets are $10 each and can now be purchased at ourhospice.org/concert.

"We expect this to be a sold-out event, so we encourage you to get online to get your tickets as soon as they are available," said Davis.

The traditional $10,000 raffle drawing will take place immediately following the last band (you do not need to be present to win), tickets are available from Our Hospice or Palliative Care team members, at our pre-concert events, and will also be sold at the concert.

"Our annual drive-thru baked cookies, raffle ticket, and T-shirt sale will take place a few weeks prior to the concert at the Hospice Center, building excitement in the community," said Davis.
