Hospital Foundation's golf outing a success
Jun. 25—GREENSBURG — The Hospital Foundation of Decatur County raised more than $23,500 at its annual Event 'Fore' Caring golf outing at the Greensburg Country Club.
All proceeds from the event directly fund the Foundation's initiatives to support Decatur County Memorial Hospital in providing care for those in need, offering screenings at health fairs, enhancing and expanding facilities, upgrading equipment and technology, and supporting ongoing education for hospital staff members.
Hospital Foundation Director Mandy Lohrum said 26 teams participated in the 20th annual event, with the Randy Ellis team taking home the top prize. Second place was garnered by Meduit. Third place was secured by Noles Family Dental.
In addition to the round of golf, attendees enjoyed a meal prepared on the grill by DCMH Dietary, Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive, a silent auction, and other fun games.
