The Hugely Popular Adidas Face Mask Is Finally Back in Stock
While they've become something of a hot-button issue for some over the last couple of months, wearing a face covering when we're outside our homes is still one of the most effective things we can do to help limit the spread of coronavirus. The virus is spread through respiratory droplets when talking, coughing, or sneezing, and so face masks remain a crucial means of protecting others while out in public.
Naturally, as masks are both a strongly recommended health measure and something which takes up more than 50 per cent of your face, they have fast become this year's most invaluable fashion accessory. Already celebrities have picked out their favorite mask brands, and clothing companies are swiftly responding to a new set of needs from their customers, such as masks which can be comfortably worn at the same time as glasses without steaming up the lenses, or masks which are suitably breathable which can be worn during exercise.
One of the early popular choices of face mask during the pandemic was a sleek, simple design from the sport fashion giant Adidas. Sold in black or blue, the washable fabric mask features prominent Adidas branding, and soon became a staple in many people's pandemic wardrobe. In fact, demand for the Adidas Face Cover proved so high that it has been sold out for the last three months.
As of right now, however, it's back in stock and available to order—although it's likely that this won't be the case for long.
Adidas is just one of many companies that are eager to offer face masks which are as comfortable and breathable as possible, in order to ensure that as many people as possible comply with current public health advice.
One of the more common complaints surrounding masks is that they make it harder to breathe, although this has been proven to be inaccurate (excluding a small handful of very rare medical exemptions). While somebody wearing a mask might be less comfortable and feel as if breathing is more difficult, face coverings ultimately have no impact on our blood oxygenation levels.
