Hugh Jackman Loves Listening to ‘The Greatest Showman’ Soundtrack In His Spare Time

Hugh Jackman may be a Tony Award–winning actor, but he isn’t above listening to his own music.

The Greatest Showman star revealed on the Golden Globes Facebook Live Red Carpet Preview that he’s been spending his time listening to the film’s soundtrack on repeat.

Prior to The Greatest Showman, Jackman said he found it difficult to listen to himself sing. Now, he says he listens to the album constantly and even told strangers on the street today that he’s so excited the soundtrack hit number one on the Billboard 200 albums list. Deborra-lee Furness, his wife of 21 years, verified this with a nod.

“This has been my boyhood dream, and it’s finally being realized at 49,” the actor said.

Ain’t no shame in your game, Hugh. With your voice and the musical finesse of La La Land songwriters Benji Pasek and Justin Paul (who penned the soundtrack), how could you not listen on repeat.
