Hulk Hogan is getting into the CBD, THC, and mushroom business, after his own life-changing experience using cannabidiol. The 69-year-old former wrestler is launching his own brand with Carma HoldCo, the company that produces Mike Tyson's "Tyson Ranch 2.0" and Ric Flair's "Ric Flair Drip" premium cannabis lines.

In a new interview with TMZ Sports alongside his new partner, Carma's Chad Bronstein, Hogan opened up about his "fitness and wellness journey" since he's started using CBD. He also detailed how it helped him recover from his various surgeries in a way prescription painkillers could never compete with.

"In the last 10 years I've had 28 surgeries—it's just been insane," Hogan explained. "And from everything I've been through, you know, the pain and the inflammation and the prescriptions that doctors would give you, that whole training, prayers, and eat your vitamins kind of got rattled a little bit."

"So there was a way to slow walk things back to get back to center, to get back to health again," he continued. "And when I saw what Ric and Mike were doing, I instantly wanted to get on the team, because to use CBD for energy, for sleep, for fitness, it just made sense."

Hogan elaborated that he had gotten to a point where prescription drugs just weren't working for him anymore, even as he was constantly downing Tylenol, Advil, and Aleve.

"So, as I moved away from that and got into the CBD world, it really changed the game from my sleep to the inflammation, the way my wrists and my joints hurt, across the board, it helped me with my health," he recalled.

When asked if there was a place where CBD and THC products could be used for active wrestlers, Hogan responded that in his option, there absolutely is.

"I always joke about I didn't get the memo that this stuff was 'fake' and after the 10 back surgery and two knees and two hips, it's just a situation of you do get hurt out there all the time—especially the first 20 years," he said.

"The brain fog, and after you've been knocked out a few times—it just kind of gave me clarity and straightened things up for me," Hogan added. "You know, I feel better than I've ever felt at 69 years old. I feel like I'm 25 again."
