Husky Pack's Jealous Response to a Voice Recording Is So Relatable to Dog Parents
If your dog is always trying to get in the middle of your business, you're definitely not alone. Our furry friends are famous for being nosy and involved, whether you're packing for a trip or just putting on your shoes. I can still remember when I was packing for college and my cockapoo sat down right inside my suitcase! He wants to be with his family members 24/7 (and now that my mom is retired, he can be!), and the Husky I have with my fiancé is the exact same way. In fact--he's even more clingy and jealous!
One Husky mom from Vermont knows exactly what I'm talking about. Her trio of woofers recently got a case of FOMO when she played a voice recording from an exercise video, and now their chaotic reaction is getting tons of laughs online. Their owner shared the hilarious video on February 19, and Husky parents everywhere can relate.
LOL! This poor woman just wanted to have a workout, but her vocal Husky dogs had other plans. What can they say? They thought someone was in the house! Titus, Kota, and Miska would make very good watch dogs with those loud howls, and they never waste an opportunity to prove it. Luckily, their owner has a great sense of humor about it!

"FOMO is the ultimate enemy of all Siberian Huskies, it seems!" agreed commenter @mac.and.loki. "Loki does the same!" I'm honestly not surprised. Just about every Husky I've ever met would join in on the noise in one way or another, though not all Northern breed dogs are experts at howling.
My Husky prefers to talk! I've only heard him howl a handful of times in his life (he's a senior dog, now), but he barks, talks, and grumbles all day long. Sometimes, we have entire conversations!
Why Do Huskies Talk?
Dog owners and experts know that Huskies are known for being especially vocal dogs--but why is that?
These dogs talk to communicate more than other dog breeds because that's how they survived and stayed together out in the snow. The sound of a timid bark may not carry through a blizzard, but a howl or loud sound would. Even if the sheer volume isn't necessary for pet Huskies to survive in a house, most Huskies talk sometimes because that feels like a natural way for them to communicate.
So, in the case of the Vermont Husky Pack--they have a lot to say! Their chorus of howls is positively hilarious to hear, but I can only imagine how confused they were when they came out of the room and found that no one was there.
