Let’s Just Get to the Point:
It’s super luxe, has a ton of botanical ingredients and makes your skin incredibly soft and glowy almost instantly.

If You Want to Know More:
Chase Polan, founder of holistic skin care line KYPRIS, doesn’t like facial oils that act like facial oils. A rather bold statement from a woman who has reached cult-level status selling hero products—you may be familiar with the insanely popular blue-glass bottle called Antioxidant Dew—that feature (you guessed it) facial oils.

“There’s so many that just kind of ‘sit’ on your skin. That doesn’t work. You need to get the ingredients to soak in,” she tells me at New York’s Four Seasons Downtown CUT bar. In a sea of martini-swigging happy-hour goers, Polan orders green tea, what I can only take as a true testament to how serious she is about the organic, wild-crafted lifestyle her line promotes so well.

Next up: What Polan considers “the most luxurious launch” since the brand started in 2012, the Cerulean Soothing Hydration Recovery Mask ($210). She’s particularly passionate about it because it has SO many biotechnological-backed, natural boosters that “get in there,” including antioxidant-rich sea fennel stem cells, microbiome-protecting Chaga, skin-soothing Tulsi flowers, and peptides on top of peptides. And that’s just for starters, as the formula is literally brimming with a total of 36 botanicals and actives.

It’s scheduled to debut April 22 for Earth Day, which is especially fitting because one of the product’s main goals is to protect against UV overexposure and pollution. All impressive promises that come with the very nice side effect of making skin extremely soft, hydrated and glowy pretty much as soon as you apply it, attesting to the Polan’s belief that maybe the best skin care “soaks in.”
