'Is this hypnosis?': Jeanine Pirro's theory on Christine Blasey Ford's allegations against Brett Kavanaugh
Fox News host Jeanine Pirro made an appearance on Hannity Thursday evening and suggested that Christine Blasey Ford may have been hypnotized by her therapist.
Reporting from President Trump‘s rally in Las Vegas, the former judge began discussing Ford’s sexual assault allegation against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh with the show’s host, Sean Hannity, and a guest, singer Lou Hobbs. During the segment, the three questioned the absence of the presumption of innocence by those discrediting Kavanaugh. Ultimately, Pirro proposed that people might just be making things up.
“This is worrisome; it means that people will make up stories,” Pirro said of Ford’s classmate Cristina King Miranda, who claimed that she remembered the alleged incident from the summer of 1982 but later deleted that statement, noting that she still supports Ford.
Hannity then pitched in to say, “My understanding is, didn’t they say that this came out for the first time in couples therapy in 2012?” Pirro responded, “Yeah, and what was that about, and when was the first time Kavanaugh’s name came up? And what about, is this hypnosis?”
Pirro went on to question whether or not Ford’s claim is a result of “confabulation,” referring to a memory error that results in the production of fabricated, distorted, or misinterpreted memories about oneself.
Trump took to his own Twitter on Friday morning to share his opinion on the debate about Kavanaugh.
Judge Brett Kavanaugh is a fine man, with an impeccable reputation, who is under assault by radical left wing politicians who don’t want to know the answers, they just want to destroy and delay. Facts don’t matter. I go through this with them every single day in D.C.
