Ice at Canalside opens for season on Nov. 22
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Ice at Canalside opens for the 2024-25 winter season on Nov. 22, they announced Friday.
The opening weekend runs Nov. 22-24, and then regular operations of the ice will begin on Nov. 29.
Some new and returning features include a trackless train, ice bumper cars, ice bikes, a hockey skills space and a snow sculpture that will be updated and redesigned throughout the winter.
There will also be weekly special events, including the Friday night theme nights that includes a fireworks show in November and December.
Admission for ages 13 and up is $8, ages 6-12 and military is $5 and children 5 and under are free. Skate rentals are $5 and a training walker is $2. For more information including hours and a schedule of specials, click here.
