The competition in this city is steep, and the stakes are raised each season in terms of who will have the most spectacular set-up. From 35-foot-tall fully functioning ice lockers to conceptual floral collaborations exploring the senses, this year’s windows are as fabulous as ever. Only department stores like Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale’s, and Lord & Taylor can make us forget that while it may be snowing and picturesque inside, we’re sweating outside.
