Only a week after Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce stunned audiences with their unexpected appearance on the hit comedy sketch show Saturday Night Live, major musical icons Mick Jagger and Lady Gaga followed suit with surprise cameos on Oct. 21.
The episode was hosted by Bad Bunny, 29, who also served as musical guest, with Jagger and Gaga stepping in to offer some help. For Jagger's part, he made cameos in two skits, with the first seeing Jagger, 80, acting in a Spanish-language soap opera with Bad Bunny and SNL cast member Marcello Hernández that quickly goes awry. Jagger's second skit had him playing the role of a mischievous nun.
Meanwhile, Gaga, 37, helped introduce Bad Bunny for his performance as the musical guest. A third celebrity made a surprise appearance as well, with Bad Bunny's "favorite actor," Pedro Pascal, whom many know from The Mandalorian and The Last of Us, showing up for his opening monologue as well as another skit later on.
The group of stars was later spotted at the SNL afterparty alongside Bad Bunny's girlfriend, Kendall Jenner, and Gaga's boyfriend, Michael Polansky.
Jagger's cameo comes on the heels of The Rolling Stones' new album, Hackney Diamonds, which was released on Oct. 20. The band reportedly celebrated with a release party in New York City, surprising guests with a musical set, and Gaga even joined them for an exciting performance of the single "Sweet Sounds of Heaven."
Other celebrities who appeared at the star-studded event were Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig, Chris Rock, Jimmy Fallon, and Christie Brinkley, who brought her lookalike daughter Sailor Brinkley-Cook along for the celebration.
