New Idols Lead to a Power Player's Blindside on 'Survivor 45'

Through three episodes, the Survivor 45 cast has proved it is here to play. Alliances began to fracture when people were caught red-handed with advantages. A tribe raid gave one player key insight into another group. And it all culminated in a stunning vote, as one player's game got entirely cooked.

Who got voted off on Survivor 45 tonight?

Sabiyah Broderick

Through the first week of Survivor 45, Sabiyah held all the power. While the Lulu tribe dwindled, she gained the lead position in the group, finding an idol to boot. When they were sent to their third Tribal Council in a row, Sabiyah concocted a plan to blindside her closest ally Kaleb for being a threat. Her Achilles heel was the person she kept in the game last week in Emily. Sabiyah chose to sacrifice her vote to try to have her idol last to the merge. But she underestimated the duo of Emily and Kaleb, who came together to blindside Sabiyah and send her out with an idol in her pocket.

Were any advantages found or played on Survivor 45 tonight?

Yes! First, with the help of his allies, Austin was able to accomplish all of his tasks and retrieve the idol from his camp. However, this season's idols come with a twist. The idol is good for only one Tribal Council. But, you can sacrifice your vote to make it good through the premerge portion of the game. If you sacrifice two of your votes, the idol gets its regular power, good to the Final Five. Sabiyah similarly accomplished her tasks at Tribal Council and got her idol, but she was voted out with it.

Additionally, in winning the Reward Challenge, Kaleb served as ambassador to raid the Reba tribe camp. He was also given the "Goodwill Advantage," which allowed one player to restore a vote that they had lost. He gave it to Drew.
